Azzurre fall to surprise loss at Finland in Women's Euro 2025 qualification
The Italy Women's National Team were unable to build on their recent and impressive win over The Netherlands away against Finland in 2025 Women's European Championship qualification, losing 2-1 in Helsinki.

AS Roma full-back Lucia Di Guglielmo had put the Azzurre ahead in the first half, but the hosts responded soon after to go in level at the break courtesy of a Jutta Rantala strike. Young Como Women forward Oona Sevenius scored the winner for Finland, aided by a big diversion as Elena Linari looked to swipe the ball away from goal.
The result leaves all four teams in League A Group 1 level on three points after two matchdays.
