Serie A 2023/24: Matchday 16 results
It was a weekend to remember for both Inter and Bologna as Matchday 16 of the 2023/24 Serie A season played out. The Nerazzurri's win at Lazio saw them go four points clear at the top, while the Rossoblu's defeat of AS Roma allowed them to pull clear and stand alone in fourth place.
Juventus had let a lead slip to draw 1-1 at Genoa before Inter played, opening the door for the Nerazzurri to capitalise. Between the Derby d'Italia duo and Bologna remain AC Milan, who beat Monza 3-0.
Atalanta bounced back after going a goal behind at home to Salernitana to win 4-1. Fiorentina beat Hellas Verona 1-0, and Napoli beat Cagliari 2-1.
Elsewhere, Lecce beat Frosinone 2-1, Torino beat Empoli 1-0, and Udinese and Sassuolo shared four goals.
