Napoli got a vital three points away at Hellas Verona with a 3-1 win on Serie A Matchday 9 thanks to great displays from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Matteo Politano.

Despite a promising start by Verona, it was Napoli who took the lead through Politano, who was a threat throughout the contest. The second came before half-time as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia produced a fine dribble and finish. The Georgian grabbed a second after the break with Politano assisting before Darko Lazovic gave Verona some hope of a comeback.

The points are more than welcome but Rudi Garcia will be pleased that his team produced a strong performance over the whole game. They will stay fifth for another week but may close to teams ahead of them, whilst Verona remain just above the drop zone.
