Inter transfers: Nerazzurri pushing sales through to hold onto Liverpool and Chelsea target Nicolo Barella
Amidst growing Premier League interest in Nicolo Barella, Inter are actively looking to make other sales in order to avoid being forced to part with their midfield star. Not even Sandro Tonali's move to Newcastle United can guarantee that Barella won't have Premier League offers.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Barella has caught the attention of Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp as he seeks to rebuild his midfield following a disappointing Premier League campaign last term.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United are also pursuing the Italy international, whilst Newcastle United are reported to have made an approach for him after securing Champions League qualification, although they are set to now focus on AC Milan's Tonali.

Premier League heavyweights tempting Barella
Inter are loathe to lose their midfield talisman but with financial constraints weighing heavily at the club, outgoings are necessary this summer to balance the books by June 30.
The Nerazzurri are optimistic that Barella will not push for a departure though, with the Sardinian a boyhood Inter fan and settled in Milan following his transfer from Cagliari in 2019.
However, with the potential to double his €5 million per year salary in England and increasingly flattering glances from Klopp in particular, a change of heart from Barella cannot be ruled out.
Inter would not consider selling Barella for anything less than €80m, but in an effort to avoid having to part with him, they will seek to move other players on and raise funds elsewhere.
Inter preparing clear-out ahead of Frattesi move
The most likely candidate to make a swift exit from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza is wing-back Robin Gosens, and the German is expected to fetch €15m from either Schalke 04 or Union Berlin.
Midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is also thought to be edging closer to leaving the club and he could be the latest player to enjoy the riches of Saudi Arabia, with the Croatia international ready to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
Finally, the Nerazzurri would consider selling goalkeeper Andre Onana to a Premier League this summer, just a year on from snapping him up as a free agent from Ajax. Their €70m valuation has already warded Chelsea off, but other interest could be found in the Cameroon star.

Inter have also made contingencies for the sale of Barella, with an agreement almost in place for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.
Whilst the Biscione had envisaged the Italian international teammates lining up alongside each other and will still pursue Frattesi even if Barella stays, he would also be used to slot in should a sale go through.
