Inter have earned back-to-back victories in the opening two rounds of the 2023/24 Serie A season, defeating Cagliari 2-0 at the Sardegna Arena on Matchday 2.
Denzel Dumfries opened the scoring after running onto a pass from Marcus Thuram and beating Isolani goalkeeper Boris Radunovic with a low shot, then Lautaro Martinez doubled the scoring from close range.
This leaves Inter with a 100% record alongside Napoli, AC Milan, and Hellas Verona at the end of Matchday 2 while Cagliari remain on one point with four other teams.
