Lazio crashed out of the Champions League at the Last 16 stage after a 3-0 second-leg defeat to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, that secured the reigning Bundesliga champions a 3-1 aggregate victory.

England captain Harry Kane netted a brace for the Bavarians either side of a Thomas Muller goal, as the Biancocelesti failed to capitalise on the one-goal lead they took to Germany.

After back-to-back defeats in Serie A, Lazio must quickly find some form to get back into contention for a European qualification place, unless they can win the Coppa Italia this term, where Juventus await in the semi-finals.
