Women's Serie A Podcast: AS Roma on the brink after win over Juventus
AS Roma Women are a game away from winning back-to-back Women's Serie A titles after a 2-1 win over Juventus at the Stadio Tre Fontane on Matchday 22.
Alayah Pilgrim was handed a start by Alessandro Spugna and she repaid his faith within five minutes by scoring the opener, but Cristiana Girelli equalised at the start of the second half. After Barbara Bonansea's red card, Evelyne Viens netted the winner in the 85th minute. Roma can win the league if Juventus lose against Sassuolo on Matchday 23.

Elsewhere, Sassuolo impressed to beat Inter 2-1 with Daniela Sabatino and Lana Clelland scoring. In the Poule Salvezza, AC Milan won a dramatic clash with Napoli 3-2 in Lombardia, whilst Como Women narrowly beat Pomigliano 2-1 with Oona Sevenius scoring twice.
