AS Roma 2-2 Bayern Munich: Goals, highlights and report - Women's Champions League 23/24
STADIO TRE FONTANE (Rome): AS Roma were left deflated and with their Women's Champions League fate out of their own hands on Matchday 5 as they conceded in the 87th and 97th minutes to draw 2-2 at home to Bayern Munich.
Valentina Giacinti had given the Giallorosse the lead in the first half and the Italians were the better side, but Lea Schuller levelled just before the end of the 90. Manuela Giugliano then appeared to have given the Women's Serie A champions three huge points with a 93rd-minute strike, but Schuller again controversially restored parity in the 97th.
The draw leaves Roma bottom of Women's Champions League Group C after Matchday 5, the penultimate of the group stages, and they go away to Ajax on Matchday 6 knowing that their fate is out of their hands with Paris Saint-Germain facing Bayern.
