Women's Football Podcast: Parma sink to Serie B to end woeful first-ever Serie A Femminile season
The final day of Serie A Femminile is not going to feature quite as much drama as we perhaps envisaged earlier in the season as almost all of the key details have been decided with a matchday to spare.
With AS Roma having wrapped up the title in late April and Juventus also booking their Women's Champions League place (if they are allowed to keep it), all the attention has been at the bottom of the table recently.
In what was Parma's final game of the season, they were beaten 3-0 by Sampdoria and had their relegation confirmed, meaning the focus on the final day is essentially a playoff between Samp and Pomigliano to avoid the relegation playoff place.
We’ve got Euan Burns hosting and Conor Clancy joining him to chat through all of the latest Serie A Femminile action.
As ever, the Women’s Football Podcast in which we talk through the Serie A Femminile action is available exclusively here to subscribers to Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball, where there are €2, €5 and €10 tiers available.
