Juventus struggled against Frosinone, but they were still able to defeat a gallant Giallazzurri side 2-1 on Serie A Matchday 17.

Kenan Yildiz scored with an excellent individual effort after beating three opponents and firing a shot past Stefano Turati in the Canarini goal in the 12th minute. Frosinone equalised six minutes into the second half when Jaime Baez ran onto a long pass from Ilario Monterisi and beat Wojciech Szczesny from a tight angle.

Dusan Vlahovic had come on as a substitute for Yildiz, and he regained the lead for Juventus after heading in a Weston McKennie cross. The Serbian thought he had scored a second goal, but he was adjudged to have been offside after a VAR review.

This result temporarily takes the Bianconeri within one point of Serie A leaders Inter whereas Frosinone are equal 13th with Genoa.
