Juventus 1-0 Napoli: Goals, highlights and report – Serie A 2023/24

Juventus showed their intent to fight for the Scudetto this term with a 1-0 win over reigning champions Napoli at the Allianz Stadium on Matchday 15 of the 2023/24 Serie A campaign.

After his winner against Monza on Matchday 14, it was Federico Gatti who was the hero once more for the Bianconeri, with the only goal of the game midway through the second half. However, the Old Lady had appeared to concede an equaliser to Victor Osimhen on 70 minutes, but the Nigerian striker was offside.

The win lifts Juventus to the top of the Serie A table, with title rivals Inter welcoming Udinese to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday night, while the Partenopei sit outside the Champions League qualification places in fifth.

With Juve 12 points ahead of the Neapolitans, it would appear any hopes the Partenopei had of retaining the Scudetto are over.
