An AS Roma that wasteam reduced to nine men drew 1-1 against Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico on Serie A Matchday 15.
Romelu Lukaku gave the Giallorossi the lead in the fifth minute after heading in a Paulo Dybala cross, but the Argentine came off injured soon after. However, his replacement Sardar Azmoun also had to be carried off in the second half.
AS Roma wing-back Nicola Zalewski was sent off after receiving two yellow cards, then Lucas Martinez Quarta equalised with a header of his own for the Gigliati. The drama did not end there as Lukaku also received a red card after a cynical foul on Viola forward Christian Kouame.
This result leaves AS Roma in equal fourth with Bologna on 25 points whilst Fiorentina are level with Napoli in sixth place on 24.
