Women's Football Podcast: AC Milan scrape past Napoli, AS Roma and Juventus continue winning starts
Matchday 2 of the 2023/24 Serie A Femminile season passed by without anything in the way of major shocks, mainly thanks to AS Roma and Juventus recording comfortable victories.
Arguably the most interesting game saw AC Milan secure a 1-0 win over Napoli despite the Azzurre missing a number of great chances, Marija Banusic and Paloma Lazaro being the primary culprits. A late strike from Emelyne Laurent gave Maurizio Ganz's side the points but there is much to improve upon.
The wins for Roma and Juventus were both by 4-1 scorelines over Como and Sampdoria respectively, whilst Inter and Fiorentina played out a 1-1 draw to end the matchday. Before that, Sassuolo had drawn 1-1 with Pomigliano.
We’ve got Euan Burns hosting and Conor Clancy joining him to chat through all of the latest Serie A Femminile action.
