Serie A 2023/24: Matchday 33 results

Matchday 33 ended with Inter clinching the 2023/24 Serie A title with a 2-0 win over bitter rivals AC Milan at the Stadio San Siro, after Bologna had strengthened their grip on a top four place with a stunning 3-1 away victory over AS Roma.

On Friday night, Juventus continued to stumble towards Champions League qualification as they rescued a 2-2 draw at relegation threatened Cagliari, after Lazio moved up to 7th in the standings with a 1-0 win over Genoa.

The chances of Napoli qualifying for Europe's premier club competition were already hanging by a thread, but are virtually over after suffering a 10th defeat of the season against Empoli. Before a 1-0 win for Hellas Verona sent Udinese on the edge of the relegation zone.

Sunday saw the bottom two, Salernitana and Sassuolo lose heavily, as the Neroverdi were beaten 3-0 by Lecce and Fiorentina defeated the Granata with two late goals in Salerno. As a goalless draw between Torino and Frosinone completed the days fixtures.
