After strong opening results to start the 2024/25 Serie A season weekend, Hellas Verona and Juventus face off at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi on Serie A Matchday 2.

Juventus began the new Serie A season brilliantly under new coach Thiago Motta, earning a 3-0 win against Como 1907, and there were several things to be impressed by - most notably the stylistic changes brought by the former Bologna boss.

The Old Lady were not the only impressive side on Serie A Matchday 1, though. Hellas Verona were superb against Napoli, and they too strode to a 3-0 victory. New signing Daniel Mosquera was the star of the show and Paolo Zanetti will hope he can recreate his performance this weekend.

After the Bianconeri's opening-day win, Motta is expected to make two changes to the side that won 3-0. Danilo is expected to return to the Juventus XI, which could push Andrea Cambiaso onto the wing.

Additionally, Douglas Luiz could be offered a chance to start the fixture ahead of Khephren Thuram - the Brazilian midfielder played the final 10 minutes of the game and against Como and is likely to be given the nod from the off.

Changes are expected for the hosts too with Reda Belahyane and Abdou Harroui expected to replace Suat Serdar and Grigoris Kastanos.
