Matchday 34 of the 2023/24 Serie A season began with disappointment for Salernitana fans, as a 3-0 loss to fellow relegation strugglers Frosinone saw their three-year stay in the top flight ended with four games still to play.

The following day, Lecce and Monza drew 1-1, before Juventus and AC Milan could not be separated in Turin. The goalless draw keeps a five point gap between the pair, but Lazio joined a collection of teams chasing down the Bianconeri in third place, with a 1-0 win over Hellas Verona.

Sunday began with newly crowned champions Inter brushing aside Torino 2-0 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, before Bologna failed to close the gap on Juventus with a 1-1 draw against Udinese. Atalanta did gain ground on their Champions League rivals with a 2-0 win over Empoli, as AS Roma and Napoli drew 2-2 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

The day ended with Fiorentina hammering another nail into the relegation coffin of Sassuolo, as they defeated the Neroverdi 5-1. The matchday ended with Genoa beating Cagliari 3-0.
