Serie A 2023/24: Matchday 26 results
Matchday 26 of the Serie A season proved to be a successful one for many of the teams chasing European qualification as AS Roma, Bologna, Atalanta and AC Milan all avoided defeat.
The action began on Friday night with Bologna's impressive 2-0 win over Verona, before three games on Saturday. Sassuolo lost 3-2 at home to Empoli which led to Alessio Dionisi losing his job, Monza won 2-0 away at Salernitana, and Genoa beat Udinese 2-0 at home.
Sunday started with Daniele Rugani scoring a stoppage-time winner to help Juventus beat Frosinone 3-2, and then Zito Luvumbo's late goal meant Cagliari got a 1-1 draw against Napoli. Inter won again as they beat Lecce 4-0, before Milan and Atalanta played out a 1-1 draw at San Siro.
Paulo Dybala scored a hat-trick to help AS Roma beat Torino 3-2, before Fiorentina came from behind to beat Lazio 2-1.
