AS Roma continued their rise towards the Champions League qualification places with a comprehensive 3-1 win over Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico on Matchday 13 of the 2023/24 Serie A campaign.

Gianluca Mancini gave the Giallorossi an early lead in the capital, before Florian Thauvin equalised for the visitors just after the break. Star man Paulo Dybala put Roma back in front with a well-deserved strike 10 minutes from normal time, though, and Stephan El Shaarawy completed the scoring.

The Romans now trail reigning champions Napoli in fourth place by just three points, while Udinese continue to fall towards the relegation trapdoor, sitting just one point from safety.
