Norway vs Italy: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch the Women's EURO 2025 on TV and online
Italy will compete with Norway for a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's EURO 2025, knowing that getting out of Group B was the primary aim for the tournament.
The Azzurre qualified for the quarter-finals in second place, finishing behind Spain. The 1-0 win against Belgium set them on the right path, but a draw against Portugal meant that elimination was still a possibility against Spain. Losing 3-1 to the world champions could have spelled trouble, but Belgium did Italy a favour and beat Portugal.

Andrea Soncin's side is yet to produce a genuinely eye-catching display, but small patches of impressive play across the three group matches mean there is cautious optimism against a Norway side which won all three games in Group A, but did not impress in the process. The Norwegians certainly have the more star-studded squad, but question marks remain over their togetherness as a group.
The winner of this tie will face either Sweden or England in the semi-final.
Norway vs Italy: Predicted line-ups
One blow for Norway coach Gemma Grainger is that defender Marit Lund is suspended against Italy, having picked up a late red card against Iceland. A handful of important players like Ada Hegerberg, Guro Reiten, Ingrid Engen and Thea Bjelde were rested for that match and are expected to come back into the starting lineup, along with Barcelona's Caroline Graham Hansen.

Andrea Soncin threw a curveball with his lineup choice against Spain, but the general expectation is that he will revert back to the team used in the first two matches of the group stage, albeit with a couple of potential personnel changes. He will have to decide whether Lucia Di Guglielmo and Emma Severini can come back into the side, whilst Giada Greggi is still looking for her first start of the tournament.
Norway predicted XI vs Italy (4-3-3): Fiskerstand; Bjelde, Mjelde, Harviken, Hansen; Boe Risa, Maanum, Engen; Graham Hansen, Reiten, Hegerberg.
Italy predicted XI vs Norway (3-5-2): Giuliani; Lenzini, Salvai, Linari; Di Guglielmo, Caruso, Giugliano, Severini, Boattin; Cantore, Girelli.
