Juventus thrashed Wydad AC of Morocco 4‑1 in Group G of the 2025 Club World Cup in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon to all but seal their place in the knockout stages of the competition. The Bianconeri's progression is almost official, but is not confirmed before Al-Ain's game with Manchester City overnight.

Kenan Yildiz helped open the scoring when a deflected effort led to an own goal from Abdelmounaim Boutouil on six minutes, then doubled the Bianconeri’s lead with a stunning strike into the top corner. Thembinkosi Lorch pulled one back for Wydad, but Yildiz struck again from close range, and Dusan Vlahovic sealed the result with an injury-time penalty.

The 20-year-old No.10 continued his impressive start to the tournament, after netting against Al‑Ain, and is topping the tournament scoring charts with three goals. His sublime first goal earned widespread praise and Juventus under coach Igor Tudor looked cohesive and vibrant.

Juventus will play Manchester City in their final group game.
