AS Roma 2-4 Inter: Goals, highlights and report - Serie A 2023/24

Inter extended their lead at the top of the table with a hard-fought 4-2 win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in Matchday 24 of Serie A on Saturday.

The Nerazzurri netted early through a looping Francesco Acerbi header, but found themselves behind at the break thanks to goals from Gianluca Mancini and Stephan El Shaarawy. However, a quickfire double after the interval through Marcus Thuram and Angelino's own goal gave Inter the win, with Alessandro Bastoni adding a fourth with a stoppage time counter.

Victory sees Inter move seven points clear at the top of the table, whilst Roma's winning start under Daniele De Rossi comes to an end and they remain in fifth.
