Daniele De Rossi made it two wins from two as AS Roma boss by beating Salernitana 2-1 at the Stadio Arechi on Serie A Matchday 22, but it was another nervy finish after taking a two-goal lead.

After a tepid first-half in which Salernitana had the better openings, a Paulo Dybala penalty opened the scoring in the second half. Roma seemed to relax after taking the lead, and Lorenzo Pellegrini turned in Rick Karsdorp's great cross to make it 2-0. Soon after, Grigoris Kastanos came off the bench to head one back for Salernitana and set up a nervy finish.

Roma shoot up to fifth place in Serie A thanks to many teams around them failing to win, whilst Salernitana remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
